Griffin School application process

As a prospective student and family, the place to learn more about The Griffin School and start an application is at an open house, which we host periodically throughout the year. You are also welcome to set up an individual meeting with our Admissions Director to check out the school further and get a sense whether our philosophy, programs, and environment look like a good fit for your student.

Five Easy Steps:

  • Complete a Student and Parent Application Form

  • Submit a current transcript and any other relevant academic or psychological assessments or evaluations that you have.

  • Pay the $50 application fee.

  • Schedule a day for your son or daughter to be at The Griffin School for an interview with the Admissions Committee (made up of our Admissions Director and three student representatives) and to attend some classes hosted by one of our current students.

  • Register for your student to take the ISEE test or arrange an academic assessment at The Griffin School.

    This might sound like a lot, but it is really a pretty straight-forward and simple process that can be completed in a day or two if needed. Just give us a call and our Admissions Director will walk you through the application process.


    • Deadlines

    For students applying for the 2012-13 academic year, we are currently in the admission's process. We'd love to have you attend an Open House, set up a meeting with our admission's director, or schedule a shadow day. The priority deadline for both admission applications and tuition aid is mid-March but we encourage you to get your application is as soon as possible!

    Tuition

    We make every attempt to help families work through the financial barriers that often arise when considering private school tuition expenses. Let us work with you on the financing options that are available. Various tuition payment plans and low-interest tuition loans are offered. In addition, families with financial need may apply for tuition assistance in the spring for the following school year.     International Students

    The Griffin School welcomes international student applicants who would like to study in the United States! We are approved to provide I-20 student visas to international students once they have completed the application process and are accepted.
