Students will create works of fiction, poetry, song lyric, memoir, and/or spoken word. The class explores craft and process by examining existing works of literature as well as the literature generated by students. Students will be encouraged to take their writing through an editing process with an aim toward sharing it with the community through publication. This semester, we'll focus on creative publishing with electronic media, the short story, and poetry bombing.
