It made it faster, louder, simpler, skinnier, smarter, and less full of BS. ~ Glenn O'Brien This elective will be a musicological study of the punk style - the music, the graphic design, the fashion, the videos, the attitudes, and the performances. Bands and music will be related to historical/cultural/political situations of their time and place. Songs and lyrics will be analyzed, performances will be critiqued and discussed, and the Do It Yourself attitude will prevail! Bands will form and all shall play punk!
