Committees
There are a variety of opportunities for students to serve in leadership positions at the school. At the formal level, students can serve on four different committees that run different aspects of the school community. The committees have student, parent and teacher representatives that are elected by their constituencies at the end of the academic year for a term of the following school year.

Consensus
All committees operate using a consensus decision-making process in which facilitated discussion leads to unanimous agreement for each decision. This process is based on the understanding that all committee members share a common mission that is expressed by the mission, vision and values of the school. The process of working with students, parents and teachers to find creative approaches to issues at the school can be an amazing learning experience for all committee members.
